About The Islamic Information Centre

The Islamic Information Centre is situated in the East Side of the Sultan The Sultan Qaboos Grand Masjid in Bowshar. The Centre objective is to provide information on the teachings and practices of Islam. The Centre gives public lectures and classes on Islamic related topics.

IIC Services Offered

- Provides general information on Islam to new and non Muslims

- Explains the basic elements of Islam and its belief systems

- Teaches Prayers, Qur’an and Islamic jurisprudence

- Distributes Islamic literature in various Languages

- Organises public talks on different Islamic related topics

- Organises tours (by arrangement) of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Masjid

- Teaches Arabic Courses to non native speakers
